PRE-CONSTRUCTION

The pre-construction​ ​phase​ ​is​ ​where​ ​plan​ ​your​ ​construction​ ​project before​ ​the​ ​actual​ ​construction​ ​begins.​ ​This​ ​is​ ​where​ ​we​ ​design,​ ​plan, coordinate,​ ​establish​ ​expectations​ ​and​ ​lay​ ​out​ ​how​ ​we​ ​are​ ​going​ ​to control​ ​and​ ​manage​ ​a​ ​project​ ​from​ ​start​ ​to​ ​finish​ ​to​ ​satisfy​ ​your requirements.

DESIGN - Great​ ​projects​ ​start​ ​with​ ​smart​ ​designs.​ ​We​ ​can​ ​work​ ​with​ ​your​ ​existing​ ​plans​ ​if​ ​you​ ​are already​ ​working​ ​with​ ​an​ ​architect.​ ​​ ​We​ ​can​ ​also​ ​work​ ​in​ ​the​ ​design​ ​process​ ​with​ ​your architect.​ ​Additionally​ ​we​ ​can​ ​put​ ​you​ ​together​ ​with​ ​one​ ​of​ ​our​ ​architects​ ​or​ ​residential designers​ ​to​ ​get​ ​your​ ​design​ ​done.

SPECIFICATIONS - We ​​take ​​time ​​to ​​specify​​ all ​​of ​​the ​​components​​ of​​ your ​p​roject.​​There ​​will ​​be specifications​ ​for​ ​plumbing,​ ​HVAC,​ ​electrical,​ ​carpentry,​ ​etc.​ ​Every​ ​category​ ​of construction​ ​will​ ​have​ ​specifications​ ​that​ ​we​ ​will​ ​conclude​ ​with​ ​the​ ​client​ ​during​ ​the pre-construction​ ​phase.

ESTIMATING - Once​ ​we​ ​have​ ​a​ ​design,​ ​specifications,​ ​and​ ​selections​ ​we​ ​can​ ​start getting ​​quotes ​​on​​materials​​ and ​​labor to​​ provide​​ you ​with​​ a ​​cost estimate​ ​for​ ​your​ ​project.​ ​During​ ​estimating​ ​we​ ​look​ ​at​ ​options​ ​and value​ ​engineer​ ​the​ ​project​ ​to​ ​meet​ ​your​ ​needs.

PROJECT​ ​MANAGEMENT

Project​ ​management​ ​starts​ ​when​ ​the​ ​project​ ​commences.​ ​There​ ​are many​ ​components​ ​in​ ​project​ ​management​ ​to​ ​build​ ​the​ ​project accurately,​ ​with​ ​attention​ ​to​ ​detail,​ ​on​ ​time,​ ​with​ ​quality,​ ​and​ ​on budget.

JOB​ ​LOG - Once​ ​the​ ​project​ ​has​ ​started​ ​we​ ​keep​ ​a​ ​job​ ​log.​ ​The​ ​job​ ​log​ ​will​ ​be in​ ​a​ ​log​ ​format​ ​and​ ​contain​ ​information​ ​about​ ​activity​ ​at​ ​the​ ​job​ ​site, weather​ ​conditions,​ ​progress,​ ​deliveries,​ ​items​ ​completed,​ ​pending items,​ ​etc.

MESSAGING - We​ ​have​ ​a​ ​proprietary​ ​messaging​ ​application​ ​for​ ​keeping​ ​track​ ​of​ ​all communications.​ ​This​ ​enables​ ​us​ ​to​ ​keep​ ​up​ ​with​ ​all​ ​client questions,​ ​requests,​ ​and​ ​feedback​ ​and​ ​respond​ ​in​ ​an​ ​organized format.

SCHEDULING - We​ ​maintain​ ​project​ ​schedules​ ​online.​ ​Our​ ​schedule​ ​is​ ​set​ ​up​ ​with each​ ​task,​ ​task​ ​assignments,​ ​task​ ​durations,​ ​task​ ​start​ ​dates,​ ​task completion​ ​dates,​ ​and​ ​task​ ​dependencies.​ ​The​ ​schedule​ ​is​ ​live​ ​and is​ ​updated​ ​as​ ​the​ ​project​ ​progresses.​ ​The​ ​schedule​ ​is​ ​available​ ​to view​ ​online​ ​at​ ​any​ ​time.

TRADES - All​ ​of​ ​our​ ​workers,​ ​subcontractors,​ ​and​ ​suppliers​ ​involved​ ​in​ ​your project​ ​have​ ​been​ ​vetted​ ​by​ ​our​ ​multi-point​ ​qualification​ ​process. We​ ​have​ ​been​ ​working​ ​with​ ​many​ ​of​ ​our​ ​workers​ ​and​ ​trades​ ​for over​ ​10​ ​years.​ ​We​ ​have​ ​some​ ​of​ ​the​ ​best​ ​trades​ ​in​ ​the​ ​industry.

DOCS​ ​&​ ​PHOTOS - Part​ ​of​ ​the​ ​project​ ​management​ ​process​ ​includes​ ​taking​ ​photos​ ​of​ ​the project​ ​site​ ​to​ ​show​ ​progress.​ ​We​ ​also​ ​maintain​ ​a​ ​database​ ​of​ ​all pertinent​ ​documents​ ​including​ ​permits,​ ​engineering​ ​documents, inspection​ ​letters,​ ​etc.​ ​All​ ​of​ ​these​ ​docs​ ​and​ ​photos​ ​are​ ​available​ ​to our​ ​clients​ ​online.

ADDITIONS​ ​&​ ​CHANGES - Additions​ ​and​ ​changes​ ​are​ ​normal​ ​in​ ​any​ ​construction​ ​project.​ ​We​ ​can​ ​accommodate anything​ ​that​ ​our​ ​clients​ ​request.​ ​We​ ​have​ ​a​ ​methodical​ ​way​ ​of​ ​handling​ ​additions​ ​and changes​ ​integrated​ ​into​ ​our​ ​project​ ​management​ ​process.

PUNCH​ ​LIST - We​ ​create​ ​punch​ ​lists​ ​as​ ​each​ ​task​ ​in​ ​the​ ​project​ ​is​ ​created.​ ​We​ ​have​ ​a multi-point​ ​quality​ ​control​ ​process​ ​for​ ​each​ ​task.​ ​Punch​ ​lists​ ​are​ ​our​ ​way of​ ​tracking​ ​issues​ ​that​ ​need​ ​to​ ​be​ ​addressed.

FINANCIAL

The​ ​financial​ ​components​ ​of​ ​the​ ​project​ ​include​ ​everything​ ​from​ ​the baseline​ ​budget,​ ​to​ ​tracking​ ​that​ ​budget,​ ​managing​ ​purchase​ ​orders, payments,​ ​changes,​ ​additions,​ ​and​ ​lien​ ​waivers.

BUDGETING - The​ ​initial​ ​budget​ ​is​ ​created​ ​during​ ​the​ ​pre-construction​ ​phase​ ​of estimating.​ ​We​ ​will​ ​use​ ​that​ ​budget​ ​and​ ​track​ ​it​ ​through​ ​every purchase.​ ​We​ ​constantly​ ​track​ ​every​ ​expense​ ​to​ ​determine​ ​if​ ​we​ ​are on,​ ​under,​ ​or​ ​over​ ​budget​ ​at​ ​all​ ​times​ ​during​ ​construction.

PURCHASE​ ​ORDERS - We​ ​use​ ​a​ ​purchase​ ​order​ ​system​ ​with​ ​all​ ​trades,​ ​subs,​ ​and​ ​suppliers to​ ​help​ ​us​ ​accurately​ ​track​ ​all​ ​expenses​ ​from​ ​initial​ ​estimate​ ​to completion.

PAYMENTS - A​ ​large​ ​part​ ​of​ ​working​ ​with​ ​your​ ​trades,​ ​subs,​ ​and​ ​suppliers​ ​is​ ​getting everyone​ ​paid.​ ​This​ ​is​ ​a​ ​process​ ​that​ ​takes​ ​place​ ​on​ ​a​ ​weekly​ ​basis​ ​for every​ ​project.

LIEN​ ​WAIVERS - We​ ​will​ ​manage​ ​and​ ​collect​ ​lien​ ​waivers​ ​for​ ​all​ ​trades​ ​who​ ​worked​ ​on your​ ​project.​ ​These​ ​will​ ​be​ ​available​ ​to​ ​the​ ​client​ ​in​ ​the​ ​documents database​ ​that​ ​is​ ​available​ ​in​ ​our​ ​cloud​ ​based​ ​system.​ ​These​ ​lien waivers​ ​give​ ​you​ ​piece​ ​of​ ​mind​ ​that​ ​all​ ​trades​ ​are​ ​being​ ​paid.

CLIENT​ ​COMMUNICATIONS

We​ ​know​ ​that​ ​the​ ​cornerstone​ ​of​ ​any​ ​successful​ ​construction​ ​project is​ ​communication.​ ​Our​ ​entire​ ​cloud​ ​based​ ​system​ ​is​ ​designed​ ​to provide​ ​communication​ ​among​ ​our​ ​construction​ ​team​ ​and​ ​for​ ​our clients.

CUSTOMER​ ​LOGIN - We​ ​provide​ ​each​ ​client​ ​with​ ​a​ ​login​ ​to​ ​our​ ​cloud​ ​based​ ​system​ ​which connects​ ​you​ ​with​ ​everything​ ​pertaining​ ​to​ ​your​ ​project​ ​including​ ​the schedule,​ ​selections,​ ​documents,​ ​photos,​ ​etc.

MOBILE - Our​ ​cloud​ ​based​ ​system​ ​is​ ​not​ ​available​ ​in​ ​an​ ​app​ ​so​ ​that​ ​you​ ​can​ ​have access​ ​to​ ​all​ ​information​ ​about​ ​your​ ​project​ ​from​ ​any​ ​mobile​ ​device.

SELECTIONS - We​ ​work​ ​with​ ​you​ ​to​ ​make​ ​all​ ​of​ ​the​ ​selections​ ​from​ ​large​ ​items​ ​like windows​ ​&​ ​doors​ ​down​ ​to​ ​the​ ​details​ ​like​ ​door​ ​knobs​ ​and​ ​cabinet pulls.​ ​We​ ​have​ ​designers​ ​who​ ​can​ ​work​ ​with​ ​you​ ​to​ ​show​ ​you​ ​all​ ​of the​ ​options​ ​and​ ​help​ ​find​ ​the​ ​materials,​ ​color​ ​pallets,​ ​and​ ​design styles​ ​you​ ​are​ ​looking​ ​for.
